Terms

Use them freely, commercially included. Two conditions, both small:

Keep the attribution link. It is how readers check the provenance of a number, and it is how a site with no marketing budget gets found. Removing it is the one thing we ask you not to do.
Do not embed the copyrighted series— anything sourced from Optimal Blue or Freddie Mac. We publish those under a citation requirement that does not extend to redistribution inside someone else's page. exportable.json lists what is clear.

Behaviour

Embeds are static HTML rebuilt once daily, so they stay current without polling and cost you nothing at runtime. They set no cookies, run no analytics, and make no requests to third parties — an embed cannot leak your readers to us or to anyone else.
